Not quite a puppy but not quite an adult, Alice is the perfect age to be welcomed into a family! This girl leads with shy sweetness which makes her love and affection feel that much warmer when she offers it to you. We don’t know her back story but her future only needs a loving patient person to be her safe place to blossom. Alice is in her own wonderland right now, its all new and different, but all she needs is her version of a Cheshire Cat. Everywhere leads to somewhere and our Alice can’t wait to see where her somewhere leads. Loving, calm, content with any and all animals, plus she has a beautiful black coat!WIth rescue we cannot truly know a dogs age or breed but we believe Alice is about 8 months old, she is likely some pitbull/lab mix, and she currently weighs 49 lbs. She is still growing but doesn’t have far to go before she is full grown, she will be a medium size dog, full of love and snuggles. From what we have seen, Alice gets along beautifully with any and everyone, every person she met, every dog, and even our amazing house cat Tom. This girl is ready to learn some obedience with you in the lead and promises to be a great house-dog in return for teaching her all those tricks. Alice’s size and quiet/calm nature make her a great candidate for apartment life. She will need some patience as she learns the in's and out’s of navigating common spaces, but with you in the lead and a handful of treats, she will have it down quick. Alice would benefit from a confident, slightly older, role model type dog but could also be an only dog adding to the peacefulness. If you have a cat, don’t worry one bit, Alice understands cats decide who they are friends with and she won’t rush that one bit. She will wait patiently to make a love connection! Alice is at the perfect age to learn all about walking on leash, car-rides, and what it takes to be your best-buddy, but honestly that part she has a great start on! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $725 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations.
