Hi Everyone! My name is Andy and I just arrived to Mostly Muttz Rescue! I’m loving every second of being in a foster home because I’ve grown up in a shelter. My favorite part of being in a foster home is that there’s lots of soft spots to curl up on. I’m still getting used to life indoors and uncertain about things I haven’t seen before, but they say I’ve made promising headway already I’m learning all about playing with other dogs and I love it! It would be a huge plus for my confidence if my adopter would have another dog. I haven’t been around very small children yet, though I have spent time with young teenagers and did okay. I’m a little anxious about new things and people, but there’s just so much to learn! I should have a home with a fenced in yard at this time. Please contact your vet authorizing them to release information to us.Also, let your references know we’ll be calling.****Failure to take these steps may delay the process Once your references have been contacted, someone will contact you to schedule a home visit.After your home visit you will receive an email informing you of your approval. Schedule a meet/adoption. You will be able to finalize your adoption of the dog at this meeting. Please read your contract thoroughly before the meeting. You will be required to send an update at 2 weeks, 6 months, and annually. The email addresses for those updates will be at the bottom of the contract. If it has been determined that training is a requirement for the dog you’re adopting this will be noted on the contract. You will be required to submit verification of training completion. Payment by cash is due at the time of adoption. If you choose to use PayPal, payment should be made prior to the meeting/adoption.
