An open letter to Angel's future family, As I lay here in bed, with Angel crawled into my nook, her neck snuggled my armpit and her adorable face resting on my chest, her beautifully golden eyes closed and her adorable snoring perfectly synced to her breathing, I simply gush. I've been trying to fall asleep for an hour now and she's snoring directly in my ear...but she's so comfortable and happy. It brings me so much joy, I don't even care. I just find myself staring at her for what feels like hours. I simply lay here and wonder how in the world she has not been adopted yet?? People have been asking me for months, "how do you still have her?" And I simply answer that I legitimately don't know, but I believe that I am meant to have as much time with her as I possibly can. I cannot even begin to explain how much I love my foster girl. Deep down and putting my selfishness aside, I do know that she deserves more than I can give her right now as I work quite often between two jobs. Plus the fact that I'm not ready to have a dog full-time. (But hey, that's the beauty of fostering). Angel lives up to her name through and through. She is the sweetest, most loving, silliest, goofy girl. I love her more than words can explain. I have undoubtedly fallen the hardest for her than any other foster dogs. She is resilient as hell, through and through. This sweet mama has experienced a lot of loss and despite everything she's been through, she is such a gentle soul who just wants to love her people (and receive love in return). She insists on being by your side most of the time, but believe me when I say her company is well worth it! Angel loves to say hello to everybody, which sometimes can include jumping up to hug...which we are working on. She's great around kids, I truly think that she has mama instincts and knows boundaries, but she is licker for sure (fair warning lol). She should probably be an only pet, at least in my opinion unless she is trained otherwise. She is very motivated and I believe that she could learn so many commands and other mannerisms. She's a pretty low to medium energy girl who does like the walks or getting out her zoomies in the backyard but could also enjoy a daily hike or so but ultimately loves to be snuggled up and snoozing right next to you. She's great to sleep with and sleeps like a rock next to your legs and hardly ever moves! Loves car rides! Crate trained but is such a good girl she typically just lounges on the couch when she's home alone. Completely potty trained, has never had an accident inside the house! Has the bladder of a champion. Please consider giving this beautiful girl a chance!
