They are by a registered Australian Shepherd and out of a registered Australian Cattle Dog. Both parents are wonderful family pets and work livestock on our ranch.This cross is called "Texas Heeler" and they are awesome dogs that get the best of both breeds. All the grit, stability, and loyalty of the heeler and all the intelligence, kindness, and trainability of the Aussie. They will have medium coats with beautiful, sparse chocolate ticking (similar to what you see on German Shorthaired Pointers).
