This dog is a courtesy listing for one of our rescue partners Allen county animal rescue facility. They are a rural animal control shelter near Iola KS. Many dogs are brought to their facility after being found as strays, dumped, surrendered, or brought in by the city. However, because they are in such a rural town, they have a very small pool of adopters and have a hard time finding homes for the dogs in the shelter. Our promise as their rescue partner is that should someone apply through us, we will handle any transportation needed to get the dog to their forever home, we will assist with home visits, dog intros and anything needed to help get these dogs out of the shelter and into loving homes. Please fill out our online dog adoption application if you are interested in adopting this pet. Kenji is 2 years old, an Australian Shepherd mix, and around 45 pounds. His adoption fee is $200 Meet Kenji! Kenji is the sweetest guy who is looking for a furever family to go on adventures with. He's the typical happy go lucky dog who loves to romp around and play with his best friends. He's a medium energy dog who is down for being out on the town, or snuggling at home with a movie. Kenji loves all people including kiddos, and canine friends! He also does well with cats, but may be inclined to chase them if they run. All in all, Kenji is a lovable dog that would fit into pretty much any family that is looking to add a furry companion!
