.BARKOS Male, Neutered 2yrsTerrier XTested good with cats Tested good with dogs NO KIDS UNDER 10yrs Barkos was adopted out but has been returned as he nipped at the baby of the family. Barkos would do best in a home with no kids or in a home with older kids I would say over 10yrs of age. Barkos is a dog who loves to be with you or on his own. Barkos likes other dogs and will play here and there but he would rather be with a person or in his dog house. He is a laid back boy who is looking for a couch and person to call his own!! Are you the right fit for him???Adoption processThe Rangely Animal Shelter works very hard to find homes for all adoptable animals. We require that the adoptive family includes the dog or cat as a highly regarded family member. We do have an adoption contract and there are certain qualifications that can be different with every dog or cat. All animals are spayed or neutered are micro-chipped and have all current vaccinations. We do require a 125.00 donation for adoptions that goes back into our spay and neuter program, and covers the registration for the micro-chip for the animal. This fee does not cover all of the costs but we would rather these animals find forever homes than charging a fee that no one can afford.Shelter locationYou can meet any of our adoptable pets most any time of the day at the shelter.
