Bear is an adorable one-year old male Chihuahua who was surrendered by his tearful owner on October 25, 2023 along with his Chihuahua mom/dad (Lucy & Simba) because she was no longer able to take care of her beloved pets. Bear has a tan short smooth coat, rather short bowed legs, a long body, a long tail, and a cute face with classic Chihuahua features including large brown eyes, a splash of white on his slender muzzle, and super-sized large erect ears. This little lovebug loves to sleep beneath blankets (and loved to snuggle with his mistress). His previous owner told us that Bear did not really do well with other animals or children. He has been kept indoors and is housebroken. Thanks to HSOV Humane Officer Fredley Tynan who accompanied Bear outdoors for his Petfinder/Facebook photos on the afternoon of October 31st. Bear seemed to thoroughly enjoy his 15-minutes of fame and posing like a model for 'Dog Fancy Magazine'. Bear weighs 15.2 lbs.
