A5537069 Bear has a wiggly demeanor and is oh so cute with his root beer colored eyes and shiny black coat. He’s a curious fella and would thrive with an active family to give him all the exercise and mental stimulation he needs. -1 year 6 month old Labrador Retriever / Shepherd mix -Black coloring -Neutered male weighing 49 lbs --Came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on March 28th as an owner surrender -Came in as a puppy but was returned as an owner surrender -Needs all the positive reinforcement training -Needs more practice on the leash -Shows signs of housebreaking -Medium energy level -Large dogs ok -Knows sit and ready to learn more -overall friendly guy -Bear was recently treated for an ear infection. May need to adopt with health waiver and have further follow up with your own vet. ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals. This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. For more information about the pet, the adoption process, or our program please contact the Volunteer Adoption Coordinator listed below. Because animals are adopted/rescued daily, please also check the United Hope for Animals Facebook page to see if an animal is still available OR call the Baldwin Park Shelter at 626-962-XXXX.
