Benji is a 7 year old, 12 pounds male Shih Tzu who loves cuddles, being around other people or dogs, playing just to have fun and he loves walks. He does well with dogs, cats, chickens, and has never exhibited food aggression whatsoever. Benji learned his potty training routine quickly and has a calmness about him that is perfect for a quiet household that also likes to have some laughter and fun. Benji does both. Although he will stay in a crate at night, he prefers to sleep with his humans in their bed and we are truly going to insist that he have that privilege wherever he goes. He may be the most loyal fur baby his foster parents have experienced and they guarantee that you will fall in love with him hard and fast. Benji loves to sit in his human's lap during evening wind downs, but he will also lie on the floor, a blanket, or a bed if not invited to sit with his human. This boy will be a wonderful family member but we are looking for a person or couple who will be his leader and not let him run the show. He is cute but he still needs to be kept in check with boundaries and not to whatever he wants just because he is darling. Make sense?
