Red Girl is a beast! She is big, beautiful, and strong. The leader of the girls, cautious and vigilant, yet so friendly and personable. She is stunning and impressive. She has a thick red coat with dark shading; she looks just like her father. She reminds me of "Scar" from the Lion King, but she has a disposition like "Mufasa". She is the only one that did not inherit the merle gene from her mother, but she turned out to be the most impressive and the most vibrant in coloration regardless! She has a massively thick and luxurious coat, but since she is short haired, her coat will require less maintenance than a purebred long haired Tibetan Mastiff. Her brother will run straight up to you and any stranger, and her sister will hang back and take a good while to warm up before she lets you into her circle. Red Girl is somewhere in between, being vigilant and careful, but also tolerant of change and new faces. She has been raised around children and behaves wonderfully with my kids. Crate trained! Leash broken! Acclimated to living both inside the house and to being a guardian. They will go out the dog door and spend a considerable amount of time outside; they love to sun themselves and just chill on the patio for hours. They're so well behaved! While at the temple they were raised around many other interesting animals including peacocks and ostriches. Yes, you are welcome to come visit and meet them and their mom! This puppy is a once-in-a-lifetime genetic combination; a first generation cross between a Tibetan Mastiff and a Catahoula Leopard dog. This puppy was bred and born at the Buddhist Temple and raised according to their beliefs and practices. I have vaccinated and dewormed these puppies myself in accordance with *proper* breeding practices, however. This litter will be the only of their kind, as I now have the mother and she is going to be spayed. The monks will surely continue to breed their colony of Tibetan Mastiffs without my beautiful Catahoula girl in the mix.
