Mama Spirit wandered up to the home of an animal lover on Thanksgiving after being dumped nearby. She was very pregnant and huddled behind their barn. This kind family took her into their barn to give her a safe place to have her pups and now they are fostering this sweet family until they come to NJ. The pups are sweet and playful. They were born on December 5, 2023. Mom Spirit is 50 lbs. We have no info on dad. Spirit recently met a bunny and was very sweet with the bunny but did steal her carrot! Spirit has been fixed, microchipped and she is up to date on vaccines. She completed treatment for heartworm. Her adoption fee will be $450. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption.
