Blue Eyed Boy is such a friendly guy! Nothing phases him; he is the first one in line to meet new people and go places. Friendly, bold, and observant. He watches for "intruders" in the yard like possums and will most definitely let you know what's up! He is definitely the most charming of the siblings. He's a social guy. He inherited the merle gene from his mother, which shines through the sable coat that he inherited from his father. All the white on his chest are splashes of merle, and he has one "cracked" blue eye that almost twinkles when he gazes up at you. He has a thick and luxurious coat, but since he is short haired, his coat will require less maintenance than a purebred long haired Tibetan Mastiff. He is definitely the first to approach, with his two sisters not too far behind. He has been raised around children and is great with my young kids. Crate trained! Leash broken! Acclimated to living both inside the house and to being a guardian. They will go out the dog door and spend a considerable amount of time outside; they love to sun themselves and just chill on the patio for hours. They're so well behaved! While at the temple they were raised around many other interesting animals including peacocks and ostriches. Yes, you are welcome to come visit and meet them and their mom! This puppy is a once-in-a-lifetime genetic combination; a first generation cross between a Tibetan Mastiff and a Catahoula Leopard dog. This puppy was bred and born at the Buddhist Temple and raised according to their beliefs and practices. I have vaccinated and dewormed these puppies myself in accordance with *proper* breeding practices, however. This litter will be the only of their kind, as I now have the mother and she is going to be spayed. The monks will surely continue to breed their colony of Tibetan Mastiffs without my beautiful Catahoula girl in the mix.
