Border Collie Mix Dog for Adoption in Rosenberg, Texas, 77471 USNickname: SHADY Posted Breed: Border Collie / Mixed (medium coat). Shady is so smart and well behaved. Sheâll sit if she thinks you want her to sit â you donât even have to say the command! She also already knows how to lay on command and knows what `no` means. She really appreciates being rewarded for her intelligence with a treat, and did great with potty training in a previous foster home. Sheâs very food/treat motivated! Shady has an average energy level. She can be silly and playful, but she can also be calm and focused. In either mood she loves being around people. Throwing a ball makes her excited and she loves to play fetch, but sitting next to her to give her pets puts her in a relaxing mood. Shady has lived well with another dog in a short term foster home, but she does feel very protective of her food when other dogs are around. She'd do best being fed seperatly from the other pets in the home. Shady came into the shelter as a stray with a microchip, but unfortunately her owner never came in to reclaim her. So now sheâs looking for a new family to love!
