Boxer Dog for Adoption in Austin, Texas, 78761 USNickname: Randy Posted Breed: Boxer. Hi! My name is Randy! I am a 7-year-old handsome flashy fawn boy that is looking for my forever home! Not much is known about my life prior to rescue except that I have some scars and bumps, but that is behind me now! I am a sweet and friendly boy! I love meeting new people and am a people pleaser! I have high energy in short spurts. When the humans get home, I am super excited to see them! I occasionally get the “zoomies” in the backyard but will also spend time napping at your feet when still. I enjoy being outside and don’t mind sunning my belly or scratching my back on the patio. I am house trained and crate trained! I have done well with the two resident boxers after a slow introduction. We share beds, toys, and water but we do feed separately because I can sometimes be a food hog and will eat everyone’s food if they don’t. I live with a kid currently and am great and gentle when meeting his friends that come over. I like to chew on bully bones and will carry stuffed toys around and am gentle with them. I am a natural hunter and love chasing squirrels and hunting rabbits in the foster home yard, so it’s best I live in a small animal/cat free home. At night I sleep in my crate with no accidents or issues! I will watch out the front window of the home and will bark at people near the house but am fine when they come inside. My foster family says I am “so gentle and sweet” and they “like me a lot”.
