Say hello to Brooklyn! She is a 2 year old Pit Bull mix who weighs 52 pounds. Brooklyn is a shy girl when meeting new people, but with some time and patience she is a total lovebug who love attention from those closest to her. She is a playful pup that loves to run around and play and go for long walks in the sunshine. With a slow introduction she shows potential to live in a home with another dog if they're a good fit. Due to her sensitive nature, if there children in her forever home they need to be ages 13 and older. If Brooklyn looks like the girl for you, give us a call at 330-487-XXXX ext 226 to learn more about her and schedule a time to come in and meet!Adoption processAll of our adoptable animals are up-to-date on all age appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered, de-wormed, de-flea and microchipped before adoptions are finalized. All dogs over six months of age receive a temperament assessment by our Certified Professional Dog Trainer to ensure appropriate placement. Also, many animals in our care receive basic obedience training to improve manners and increase adoptability. We are currently doing adoptions by appointment only. Adoption Fees:Dogs6 months or under: $1756 months to 5 years: $1256 years or older (or special needs): $50 Cats6 months or under: $75 (or two kittens for $100)6 months to 5 years: $506 years or older (or special needs): $20 Senior to Senior Program: For adopters age 60 or older, adoption fees are reduced to $15 if the animal is 3 years or older. This service is made possible through the Pets for the Elderly Foundation. You will be asked to provide proof of age.
