Ready or not, here I come! My name is Bruiser and I'm not sure what's bigger- my head or my heart! A kennel in the shelter is no place for a boy like me- I'm a high octane dog with energy to burn and sloppy kisses to share. I love toys and treats but I have to say that butt scratches are my absolute favorite. I'm not interacting well with other dogs or cats here so best to keep me as the only pet at home. Come on, let's go!Adoption processPre adoption application required, including references, and proof of home ownership or rental permission forthe pet in question. All members of the household are required to visit the pet prior to adoption. In the case of dogs, other dogs in the household must meet potential new dog. Selections are not made on a first come basis, but an overall likelihood of a successful placement based on the application information and meetings. There are fees to adopt and these can be found on our website, www.catsndogs.org.ALL OUR PETS ARE AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING ON OUR WEBSITE www.catsndogs.org.Shelter locationWe are open to the public from noon until 5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday and noon to 7 on Thursday. We are closed on holidays, Wednesdays and Sundays. We are located at 7001 Packer Drive in Wausau WI.
