UPDATE: Bryn has been made available to rehome as of this month after we have taken back into our home and providing him with the full care he needs. He had an unfortunate accident and broke his hind left leg in 2 places. A little more about Bryn- updated on Feb. 14, 2024Bryn is a high spirited and high energy, full of personality little guy. He possesses such great character. Bryn is pup pad trained and goes outdoors as well. He loves to play and cuddle, loves to hide his chewy bone from the other pups around the house and finds some interesting places to do that, lol. He also loves to play with our 2 cats and 2 kids. When he is ready to relax and nap, he loves to crawl up beside the kids on the couch and place his arm over their arm or legs so he can comfortably cuddle and sleep. He is not albino, he is a cream dilute Boston terrier. More on his injury- He is absolutely happy and healthy but unfortunately did break his leg and is in the process of healing. The basement door was left ajar at the home he was at and he had never followed anyone down before, but decided he wanted to that day and unfortunately he was not ready for the stairs and tumbled down. He broke two of his leg bones and very expensive surgery was suggested. The owners could not afford his care, and he was left with 3 options, the surgery that would have cost more than 7 to 8k or wrapping for a few weeks while healing with re wrapping every 2 weeks. or amputation. The only other option for the family, being unable to afford the care that was necessary, would have been to euthanize and we wanted to make sure he had his best chance and consider that an absolute non-option for him. They tried to initially cast, but one of the bones kept popping back out. He is growing and they didn't want it to set wrong, so wrapping and rewrapping biweekly was his best option at that point. As of now, he is bouncing around, running and jumping up and down from the couch. He still is favoring the leg and limping a bit, but does often apply pressure without pain. He may always favor that leg but it still remains to be seen what the permanent status will be like for him, since he is still in the healing process. He no longer requires pain medication and is super happy and mobile. He is priced at a reduced pet price due to injury, combined with the rehoming fee. New owner will be responsible for any additional care going forward as we have done all we can to give him his best chance at a full and loving life. He is full of joy and is constantly bringing a smile to our faces everyday. We enjoy Bryn to the fullest and want him in the right home, where he will receive the same joy and love in return that we know he will bring to his new family.
