Buck is a stellar student. That's why we wanted to share the comments on his latest Dog's Day Out report card! It goes as follows: Noted as: Sweet, loving, fun, playful, docile.Buck is one of the sweetest and most well behaved puppies I have had the pleasure of walking. Though he is a puller on his lead, with some redirection and treat-stimulation, he was able for get the hang of it right away. He has a very loving and warm personality and is easy to fall in love with. Much to my surprise, he did not chase after any birds or cars. Usually puppies are distracted easily, but Buck was perfect! He didn't even budge when other people would walk by. When another dog would start to approach us on the other side of the sidewalk, I would pull over to the side, tell him to sit and look at me, and he would completely ignore whatever else was going on/walking by. He is so so smart and so so sweet. He would be the perfect addition to any family. The first time a dog walked by he did seem interested in going up to them, but of course we didn't let that happen. With some redirection and treats, he completely ignored any other dog we saw. He didn't lunge at any dogs, but he did let out a whine.Doesn't that just sound great? Buck did so well on his field trip! Just look at all the potential Buck has. He's currently on some medication to help out with the stress of living at a shelter, and he'll definitely need some training to take advantage of how smart and sweet he is, but what an amazing journey you can go on together!
