Carmello is an adorable 4-month old male Labrador Retriever mix puppy who arrived at the HSOV on October 17, 2023 along with his two brothers (Almond Joy and Hershey) when they were placed in one of our outside kennels. None of the boys were wearing a collar, and they were not microchipped. Carmello has a white-and-chocolate brown coat, a long tail, and a cute mischievous-looking face with amber-colored eyes, a chocolate pirate's patch around his left eye, a pink/liver-colored nose, and large floppy ears. This little playboy was in love with HSOV Kennel Tech Stacy Simmons who helped him with his photo session on October 18th. Almond Joy was ready for fun-and-games, and he doesn't take life too seriously. He and his brother Hershey were like a comedy team auditioning for "Comedy Central" .. Since they were sharing a kennel, both boys were brought out together for what started out to be a quick photo shoot .. But it turned out to be their rendition of a 'clown show' (our favorite picture was when Hershey decided to check out Almond Joy's tonsils .. and the fun began! Carmello weighs 20.4 lbs. There will never be a dull moment in your home with Carmello (and Hershey) around (smile). Since there wasn't any information left with Carmello or his brothers as to whether they were found as strays or were surrendered by their owner, in compliance with the Ohio Revised Code they will be held for three days before being available for adoption/foster-to-adopt.If you have any questions or would like to adopt Carmello, please reach out to the adoption group directly.
