Chaps was surrendered by his owner who could no longer care for him. We believe he was originally from Glynn County Animal Services, but there was some confusion with his microchip. Wherever he was from originally, he was obviously in a good home and much loved. Chaps is very sweet and mild mannered, great news for a 9 month old "puppy". He is also good with other dogs, having lived with another German Shepherd in the house. His previous owner says he is not housetrained but is crate trained. We aren't sure how that works, exactly. Maybe he is housetrained if he gets out often enough? Whatever the circumstances, he is old enough and smart enough that it shouldn't be an issue as long as he does have sufficient opportunity to go out, run and play and take care of business!
