Say hello to Charlotte! She is a 4 year old Retriever/Pit Bull mix mix who weighs 40 pounds. Charlotte arrived in our care and was extremely skinny and is still gaining weight in our care. She has been gaining weight very well, but she will likely be closer to 60 pounds when she is a healthy weight. She is a lovable and affectionate girl who is a total sweetheart. Charlotte has a heart of gold and is one of he sweetest pups that you'll ever meet! She is selective with new dogs and would need a slow introduction to new dogs, so she may prefer to be the only dog in her forever home. While Charlotte was in her foster home she lived with cats as well and shows potential to live with cats in the future. Her foster says she is a wonderful girl who has incredible manners! She loves car rides, has been house trained, walks well on her leash, and has been crate trained since her vacation with her foster family. She is a perfect sweetheart and would be a wonderful addition for someone looking to add a snuggle but to their family! Since she is such a sweetheart she could l live in a home with children ages 10 and older.
