Cheyenne Lincoln, NE area Great Pyrenees mix 6 years old Didn’t get along with littermate‍ ( ) has been around other dogs since without any issue, Cat friendliness unknown Loves Children Fully potty trained. Has never had an accident in the house Knows basic commands, not crate trained as she isn’t destructive and it’s never been an issue Has skin allergies which are controlled with medication. Fully Vetted Approx 90 lbs Cheyenne is an absolute of a dog. She would be , , . Cheyenne is in search of a new home only because her owner is unable to care for her at this point, due to Alzheimer’s. , . She is extra gentle with elderly individuals and is able to match pace with someone who has mobility issues and using a walker. In instances where her owner fell, Cheyenne immediately laid down next to her to provide comfort while she waited for help to arrive. Cheyenne would be really wonderful for someone needing a companion animal or ESA. Cheyenne is a , and would prefer to sleep next to your feet rather than to go for a jog. She enjoys apartment living with multiple walks daily, but also loves to frolick in a fenced yard. She , as she currently lives in an apartment building. Cheyenne is , but will possibly steal the food off your plate if it’s left unattended. She is , as she does great at home alone without supervision. Cheyenne had littermate syndrome several years ago as a puppy. It’s believed the other dog was the instigator and Cheyenne has since been around other dogs around the apartment complex . This is incredibly hard for Cheyenne, her owner and the family. Cheyenne is going to be incredibly heartbroken and confused as the person she has literally cared for and has been her whole world her whole life is taken away. We would LOVE for her to be able to stay in the Omaha/Lincoln area so that she could still visit her previous owner.
