Hi, my name is Kaya! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control. I have been soaking up all the love and attention that is coming my way from the volunteers who are caring for me until my new family finds me! I got to spend some time in the prison/foster training program where I had a great time and learned a lot, too! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I recently met dogs at Mostly Mutts, and I was friendly with them, just a tad vocal in my play. If you have a nice doggie at home already, let’s meet and see if we can be pals. / Cats unknown. / I recently met kids at Mostly Mutts, and I liked them! I was very jumpy when we played, so kids 10 years old and up in my new home would be best, as I would not want to bump over younger children with my enthusiasm, and – of course, let’s meet! • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I am a friendly and energetic girl who has the most beautiful, expressive forehead wrinkles! I am super playful and equally smart. Very focused during my training time, I am sure to impress my people, as I am a people pleaser. I will get into things if I am left alone, so please make sure I am crated when you need to leave and that I have lots of nice chew toys. / My energy level is 8-9, so be ready to be active with your new best friend! • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I’m a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts University training program so I’ve learned the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘down’, ‘come’, ‘drop it’, ‘leave it’ and ‘place’ commands. I also use proper door etiquette as well as accept nice strangers without jumping. My leash manners are good using my easy-walk harness. I also use proper door etiquette and I’m sure you can teach me lots more! / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / My potty manners are good on the prison/foster training program schedule. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I enjoy playing and the volunteers have fun keeping me entertained by running and playing ball with me in the play pen at the shelter. I’d enjoy a fenced yard in my new home, where we can have lots of play sessions together! / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I am looking for a great home with a loving family! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
