Comet is a sweetie, just 10 months old and a mere 36 pounds. He's a little shy, but warms up quickly. He knows "sit" and perhaps more commands. Comet went on an adventure recently and wound up in the shelter on Nov. 16; his family has not found him, so he is up for adoption now. Come meet this sweet boy and put a smile on his face. Comet is up-to-date on vaccines and will be neutered, heartworm tested and microchipped upon adoption. He's waiting for you in Run 333 in the Small Dog/Puppy Room; use ID#651848. Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. You can also show up between 10:30 & 4:00 Tues. thru Sun. (shelter closes at 4:30), you might have to wait a few minutes until someone can help you. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip. When you book an appointment, it doesn't reserve a particular pet for you.
