Connor is a male golden retriever about six years old. He currently is underweight at 49 lbs.He is not neutered yet and we are trying to get some weight on him prior to surgery. He is light heartworm positive.At this time we are treating him with doxycycline and proheart and will reevaluate in six months. Connor spent a short time in myhome with multiple other dogs and did well. He is a very happy dog with all people he meets. He did have issues with another male golden in his current foster home over a toy. He has not been evaluated with children. We would appreciate a foster to adopt home who might be compatible withthis very nice dog. His $300 adoption fee includes heartworm treatment if necessary. Locally, we meet the adopter after approving the application to make sure everyone is compatible. For a long distance application to be approved, we rely heavily on a history of past pet care as verified by a veterinarian.
