Cookie a young, female Terrier/Lab mix was brought to the rescue by someone who stated they found her tied to their porch and attached was a Vet reciept with the dogs info on it but owners name & Vet name blacked out. The reciept had Cookies name on it, her weight (35lbs), that she is between 1 & 2 years of age, & she is already spayed and has had her rabies shot. We don't have any history on Cookie but at the rescue she is an active friendly girl that enjoys playing in th big back yeard. She also appears house trained and knows the commands sit and shake. Cookie is now looking for a committed loving family that will keep her safe and not abandon her. For more information on Cookie please contact Tri-County Animal Rescue Center ( kennel License # 8704 )Adoption processOur dog adoption fee is $125 and we require either a spay/neuter deposit of $50 or a certificate for spay/neuter at our vet may be purchased for $100 (unless already spayed/neutered which would change the adoption fee) if the option of the $50 deposit is chosen, it will be returned after proof of the surgery. Our cat adoption fee is $75 for kittens and $35 for adult cats. The cat adoption fee includes spay or neuter costs. All cats and dogs receive a wellness check and are current on all vaccinations appropriate for their age. The adoption process includes filling out an adoption application and providing references. Any current pets in the household must be spayed or neutered (unless not recommended by a veterinarian for health reasons) and current on vaccinations. If adopting a cat/kitten you must agree to not have it declawed. If living in a rental property, we must obtain permission from the landlord before an adoption can be approved. The dog or cat will be placed with the potential adopter that best matches the needs of the animal.Shelter locationTri-County Animal Rescue Center is located in the former Clarion County Humane Society building at 9562 Route 322 in Shippenville, Pennsylvania.
