Dallas is an adorable 8-month old male Plott Hound mix who was brought to the HSOV on October 24, 2023 by a Good Samaritan who found him on Putnam Howe Drive in Belpre Ohio. Dallas was wearing a choker/chain collar but there was neither an id tag nor a dog license tag on his collar .. And he was not microchipped. Dallas has a beautifully-marked brown/brindle short smooth coat, a long tail, and a cute face with dark brown eyes which appear to be enhanced with black eyeliner, black shading on his slender muzzle, and large semi-erect ears. This young man was in love with HSOV Volunteer Emma Dahlgren who spent time with him on the afternoon of October 27th for his photo session. Dallas has a happy, outgoing personality. He showed his affection and appreciation to Emma by giving her lots of great puppy kisses and nice hugs. Dallas weighs 54.2 lbs and walks fairly well on a leash. In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Dallas was held for three days so that his family would have an opportunity to reclaim him with proof of ownership.
