Daphne is a beautiful girl seeking a family to help her gain some confidence in this big world! When Daphne came to us, she was terrified of everything. Leashes, other dogs, any sound you could think of it was all too much for her. We are very slowly making progress, but she is going to take a lot of time to come around and learn how to be a normal dog. She will need some help learning her basic commands and manners. Continued reward-based training would benefit her greatly. She will need a patient and loving family who will go slowly with her and allow her to do things at her own pace. We are hoping that once she gets away from the stress of the shelter, she will be a completely different dog. If you have other animals in your home, we recommend bringing them in to do a meet and greet before taking Daphne home.
