Delilah is a Black Lab mix, 11 1/2 years old (DOB: 11/2011), given to us by her owner who was moving into a home without a yard. She wanted Delilah to have a new home where she could exercise and play. She has a short haired coat, gentle eyes and a ready ‘smile’. She is a sweet girl, who loves to cuddle and get attention. Delilah is great with people and will be your best friend/loyal companion. She loves to go for walks, play in pools and her favorite treat just might be peanut butter! Delilah tends to be bossy/dominant with other female dogs. It's difficult to break them up, if they happen to get into a scuffle. She may be ok with older male dogs, or as an only dog in your household. Probably best to go to a home with older children as well. Delilah was apparently housetrained but we do recommend supervision in a new home, possibly crating her at night and when she is home alone in the day until she can be taught the house rules.
