Who's looking for their new BFF?! Meet Demetrius or "Demmy" for short! This little guy has quickly stolen the hearts of his foster family and he's sure to steal yours just as fast too! Demmy came from an over crowded shelter where he and his siblings lived most of their lives. Despite growing up in a shelter, Demmy is a dream â¤ï¸ He is a little shy at first, but warms up quickly. Demmy LOVES people. He attaches quickly and always wants to be with his people or person. A total velcro dog and love bug. He gives the very best kisses in the entire world and aims to please. Demmy also enjoys playing with his foster siblings. He loves romping around the yard and wrestling with the other dogs in the home. He's got a lot of energy! Plays hard and naps hard! Demmy is crate trained. In fact, he feels safest in his crate and likes to go in. He sleeps in his crate at night and likes to chew on bully sticks and eat his meals in his crate. It's definitely his safe spot. Demetrius is a smart guy, but still a puppy. He's doing great with potty training and sitting, but will need to continue working on those. He's currently trying to get used to a leash, which can be scary for a little guy who's never seen one before. He's also working on his jumping.... after all, he's a puppy who likes to jump and play. With a gentle hand and consistency from his new owner, he's sure to master these skills and more in no time! Could you best Demetrius' forever? Apply to adopt him today! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
