This handsome boy has a special talent for falling asleep on the kitchen floor or snuggling up on the couch next to you while you give him gentle rubs. He adores all people, dogs, and kids, making him the perfect companion for any family looking to add a furry friend to their lives. Because of his exuberant and playful nature, Doug would do best with kids over 14 years of age and an experienced dog family. Being a herding breed, Doug does have a high prey drive, so he would do best in a home without cats. However, his love for toys is unmatched, and he will happily engage in playtime with you for hours on end. Doug does require daily exercise to work off his puppy energy. He enjoy walks and exploring new places. If you're searching for a loyal and affectionate companion, Doug may be the one for you. He is eagerly waiting for someone who can provide him with the love and care he deserves. Doug is a Dutch shepherd and would definitely benefit from an experienced handler. Doug is not a good first time pet. Doug is crate and basic obedience trained. Neutered, up to date on vaccines and on monthly heart worm preventative.
