Hey guys! It's me! Duke!I was recently found as a stray right down the road from FDHS wearing a harness and leash. The humans were certain someone would come looking for me, but my previous folks never came. I'm not quite sure why, because I'm a really good boy! I'm still getting used to life at the shelter and my caretakers are still getting to know my perks and quirks- but so far they're all pretty smitten with me. The other dogs with more "intense" personalities tend to get me worked up, but I think I'm pretty open to meeting calmer canine friends! I have not been cat-tested yet but the humans will update my description once we get to know each other a little better. I hope to see you soon.Adoption processOnce an application is filled out for animal of interest, the adoption coordinator and director will review app. *Vet reference- will call vet and verify you are a client *Current pets- must be up to date on vaccinations*If renting- will contact landlord to verify can have petsCan take 1-3 days for approval or denial. Please be patient with us. Animals are not first come, first serve.
