These are two very rare dwarf german shepherd puppies. This is a rare genetic disorder. The breeder health tested both parent dogs, and out of over 220 genetic health traits that were tested, pituitary dwarfism wasn't one that Embark tests for. That's how rare it is. If not given ongoing medical treatment, life expectancy is only around 5 years. If properly cared for, with hormone medication (they are both currently taking and doing very well) they could live 12 to 15 years. Both of these puppies are thriving very well. They are playful and attentive. They have been receiving vet care, and besides not producing specific hormones that stunt their growth, they are overall healthy puppies (heart, lungs, gums, digestive tract, all appear good).Whoever these puppies are placed with will sign a contract stating they will not resell for profit and that they are financially willing and able to care for these very uniquely exquisite "teacup" purebred German Shepherds. They are currently about 14 weeks old and are under 6 pounds. They are the most adorable little sweethearts. They will melt your heart.. guaranteed.
