Ellie is a very sweet and playful 2-year-old Dobergirl. She came to DRNV by way of the overflowing shelter. She is a goofy red girl who is submissive and loves to give kisses. As she is turning into an adult, she also experienced what can come at maturity – epilepsy. Her first seizures were very minor but came on suddenly as happens with this affliction in Dobermans. And happily, just as quicky then stopped with use of a daily inexpensive medicine. The vet expects a complete and happy life for her with those medications. But also an understanding of the potential for an occasional “breakthrough” seizure that is mostly an inconvenience. Ellie knows manners and is ready to move in.
