Meet Elvis! Elvis came into our shelter as a stray. Elvis ended up going into a foster home because he was pretty shy and scared in the shelter. HIs foster mom reports him to be a very sweet boy who likes to nap and snuggle with his people! He is still learning how toys work but is starting to enjoy them! His foster mom has helped teach him crate, sit, out, and (sometimes) down. It also appears that Elvis is already potty trained! Elvis is considered one of our Special Care animals due to coming into the shelter with multiple previous hip fractures. They are healing well and are not painful. He does not have any mobility issues at the moment but he will be prone to arthritis in his hips and may need special medical care in the future. He also has had issues with ear infections in left ear and he will need regular ear cleanings along with ongoing care at a private vet.
