Elvis von Elbe is a beautiful 10 month old German Shepherd. You were waiting and searching, and here he is! Lovable and fun, Elvis is that happy pup of your dreams. When it comes to people, Elvis is all in! He connects readily, will jump in your lap for hugs, and loves being petted all over. Already housebroken, he's done well in a home setting, and knows basic commands including "sit," "down," and "come." Elvis does well around other dogs on walks, but he is so into his people that he wants to be your one and only and prefers that you be around more (and no cats please). Mixes are "softer" and somewhat more malleable. Exceptions can be made, however, for first-time adopters who show the confidence and leadership tendencies that purebreds will respect and respond to. Counselors have to use good judgment in assessing the attributes of the adopter, as well as of the dog.
