IN FOSTER CARE: Esquire is a 1-year-old Chocolate Lab/Pit Bull mix looking for a special home. He is a shy dog who will require some time to build trust in a stranger. He lights up when he sees other dogs, so another dog in the home to show him the ropes and to play with, will help build his confidence. Esquire will need a secure, fenced yard so he can run, play and get his exercise. He will do wonderful in a home environment with someone willing to put some time and love into him. Esquire is recommended for an adult home. If you are interested in meeting Esquire, please call to schedule an appointment with our canine coordinator.Adoption processAll potential adopters must be at least 21 years of age. An application must be completed and can take up to a week to process. Once an application is approved, family meets, dog meets (if applicable) and home checks must be completed.Shelter locationOur orphanage is open to the public Monday-Friday from 12pm to 7pm, with the exception of the second Wednesday of each month during which we are closed for major cleaning. On weekends you can visit our orphans between 12pm and 5pm Saturday and Sunday. We also have some adorable adoptable cats and kittens at offsite locations: PetSmart in Marlton and PetValu stores of Cherry Hill, Marlton and Voorhees.
