MEET FLORENCE - This sweet girl arrived at the humane society with an unknown injury to one of her hind legs. At first we thought it may be severe enough to require an amputation, but her wonderful team of medical professionals determined she could keep her leg, and she was able to start recovering from her injury with the help of a loving foster home. Now she is back at the shelter, ready to find her forever family, and some one who will continue to help her on her healing journey. Florence will need to be limited to shorter leash walks (15-20 minutes) and monitored when going up and down stairs to prevent reinjury. Her foster family wants you to know she is loyal, loves attention, knows Sit, Shake, Lay down, loves playing with toys and travels well in the car. We know Florence is a special girl, and her special person is out there.
