When Frank arrived here, he was partially paralyzed. Unfortunately, after we took him to the vet, it was determined there were no surgical options that could help him. Since then, he has been on a special diet to get his weight down. He is also taking a daily medication to help him, and we are so happy to report it is really working. Because we require visits here to our rescue and home checks, adoptions are limited to the Los Angeles, Ca area.Adoption processOur strict adoption procedures include adoption application, interview, housecheck and delivery. Adopters sign a contract and provide an adoption fee which is normally $250 - $500.Shelter locationWe hold an adoption program every Saturday and Sunday at our sanctuary in Agua Dulce, California, from 11 am to 3 pm.Several times a year we participate in various adoption events held in and around the Los Angeles area.
