Frosty_A199871Frosty is an approximate 9-month-old, intact female, white and blue merle Husky/Border Collie mix that weighs 42 pounds. She arrived at the shelter as a stray on 10/22/19.Frosty is a playful, friendly and sweet puppy that loves attention. She has lots of puppy energy and would love to live in a home with a medium size yard with an active person or family with older, respectful children. Frosty will need a home with a secure fence; both her breeds have high energy levels as adults and Huskies are known to be escape artists if they get bored; after all, they are born to run! Frosty is neutral toward the cats and other dogs here at the shelter. If you have another dog and are interested in adopting Frosty, bring them to the shelter with you and our staff will help you with a meet and greet. She walks well on the leash, knows the sit and shake commands and is very gentle when taking food from your hand. She loves to play with toys and goes into a cute `play bow` when she starts playing with them. Frosty`s $150 adoption fee includes a $40 voucher to be used toward her spay, which, by law, MUST be done within 30 days of adoption (this will be thoroughly followed up). The fee also includes her up-to-date vaccines, rabies vaccine, microchip, leash, collar and goody bag!
