George is a nine-month-old, 70-pound purebred lab surrendered by his family, who lost their home and were living in a hotel. George had to be in the crate all day while in the room and soon became stressed and started losing his hair. The owners were devastated to lose him but knew that they could no longer keep him under these conditions. They said that he loves to fetch, is great with other dogs and good with kids. We have him with our rescue partner in south GA, and she said that he is a young, energetic, and goofy boy who is good in the pack and seems to be okay with cats. George is a lab puppy and will need an active owner with time to train him.
