German Shepherd Dog Dog for Adoption in Rosenberg, Texas, 77471 USNickname: TURNER Posted Breed: German Shepherd Dog (medium coat). Named for his detective skills (Turner and Hooch!), this guy loves to investigate! His favorite activity is trotting around and smelling everything there is to smell. Heâs independent and happy to work a case all by himself, but he also appreciates having a human partner around to encourage him with pets. Turner is a very good boy. Heâs good at leash walking and typically has an average energy level. He tends to not be as focused fresh out of his kennel, but after he gets rid of some excess energy heâs happy to show off how smart he is! He already knows how to sit on command for a treat. He's gotten along well both with other dogs and cats and seems to be potty trained already. When heâs off duty he enjoys a good game of fetch. He loves chasing after the ball and drops it near you after trotting around for a bit. He has yet to ignore a thrown ball! Weâre not sure what life was like for him before coming into the shelter as a stray, but he is missing the top of his left ear. Donât worry! It doesnât bother him at all.
