For multiple years, we watched him be neglected by his family. Multiple complaints were resisted with the statement that the high school boy who owned him wouldn't give him up and since they met the bare minimum for care, we couldn't do anything. He had no socialization or kindness. However, due to an unfortunate moment with the younger brother and a bone, they finally decided to give him to the shelter. He had to learn what it meant to be a dog. In foster for a time, he did well and has been in our prison program doing very well. Due to the special nature of his background we require a fenced in yard (he was chained for years) and no small children. We believe he could be a great dog for the right person! Is that person you? This pet is now available for adoption to a good and loving home. If you have a lot of love to share with a best friend please adopt one of our wonderful pets. All pets are fully vetted.
