I really need a foster... or better yet, a new home. I appreciate Chula Vista Animal Services and I have made some great friends but the shelter can be scary for a dog like me. I really am a sweet girl who just wants a loving human... that is a WOMAN. Nothing against men, it's just that I haven't really had the best experiences with men in my past. It seem that every time I see a man it just reminds me of that mean man I met before. I get tense and I avoid them because I'm just so scared of getting hurt again. If you went through what I did you would probably be scared too. I don't think I would have made it here at the shelter if it wasn't for a few nice ladies. Lissette, Karina, Dr. Jorden and Natasia helped me overcome my initial fears. I have met a few nice men here. There's the nice man who saved me from the streets and brought me here...And Steven, the Veterinary Assistant... I love him! And there's Dr. G who I have been warming up too. They're all men who respected me as a woman and took the time to understand me. If men are too pushy it freaks me out and I just run! Again, if you went through what I did you would want to run too. I know I have a lot of baggage but I still have a lot of love to give. I'm not damaged goods! I'm a loving dog who needs a second chance to be shown that not all men are bad.
