Hi friends, I'm Godiva, like the chocolate! As you can see, the folks here named me for the color of my coat. I was found as a friendly stray in Tompkins County. I have been waiting here for a while because the shelter is so full. I'm about 45 pounds (not too big, not too small) and I enjoy all the regular stuff; treats, toys, walks and scratches! So far, I've been friendly with the other dogs and people I've met. I am still young, so I've got energy to burn. Once I've had my fill of playing and running for the day, I'll probably see if you'll let me flop into your lap.
