Waylon is a 10-month-old male Golden/Lab mix. He was recently neutered as of 2/2/24. He is described as playful, affectionate, and loves to snuggle. He loves to touch his human. Loves walks, has lived with another dog, never met a cat, has not been around children. He does jump so could knock over smaller children. He seems to be afraid of the crate, but is not destructive in the home. Likely needs basic puppy obedience training. All potential fosters and adopters must complete an application, pay the $25.00 application fee and have a home visit before being considered for any dog. AGR provides emotional and medical rehabilitation and will pay for medications and for necessary surgeries. Through education at public appearances, AGR seeks to educate the public about the Golden Retriever breed and about responsible dog ownership, in order to help reduce the unwanted dog population.
