Maverick is a giant, very serious goofball. He doesn’t know how big he is so kids younger than 5 might not be the best for him. He loves to play with other dogs, not the greatest leash walker because let’s face it we have to smell alllllllllll the smells! He loves a good belly rub and a good game of tug. He loves food, he’s never dug in the trash and he’s always down for a snuggle. He does fine in the car and he’s good with cats. He knows basic commands and doesn’t jump up unless he’s super excited. He aims to please. Consider this big guy as he would make a great addition to any home. We have no additional back story or update for this dog at this time. When we do, it will be updated here. Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.
