A Golden Irish is a cross between an AKC Registered Golden Retriever and an AKC Registered Irish Setter. They are bred to bring out the best of both Golden Retrievers and Irish Setters. These amazing dogs are sometimes called Irish Golden or Irish Retriever. When it comes to great family dogs, it is hard to beat Golden Retrievers and Irish Setters. When you combine the two, you get the best of both breeds.Guy was born March 28th and will be ready to go to his forever home the middle of May. He is lighter in color compared to the others, but he will generally get darker as he grows up. He will be more of "honey" color when he grows up (ask for pictures of our grown up puppies). In this litter there are 5 females and 3 males. He is healthy, well socialized, and raised with the TLC of our six children. He comes with a health guarantee and up-to-date vaccinations. You can expect to get a wonderful, intelligent, loving family dog. He will love to run and play, and he will be a great walking companion. He will love the water (if given the chance). He will shed much less than a Golden Retriever and have beautiful wavy hair.The mom, Lucy, is a light golden colored AKC registered Golden Retriever. She has been a part of our family since she was a puppy. She is extremely gentle, very loving, and great with kids. The father, Ricky, is an AKC registered Irish Setter. He is a deep mahogany color with longer, fine, silky hair. Ricky has also been a part of our family since he was a puppy.
