Meet Holly, a four-month-old brown tabby gal. She has a sweet, round face with big green eyes. She loves to play, especially chasing toy mice, and she is REALLY food motivated. She has gobbled up every type of food -- brand and flavor -- that she's ever been given. (She likes treats, but she LOVES meals.) When Holly was found she had no contact with humans, but her foster parents have been working with her to become trusting. She's no longer afraid of humans -- although she would be, at first, with new people -- but only wants to be pet on her own terms (usually when she's sleepy or looking out the window at birds, and definitely while she's eating). When she doesn't want you to pet her, she will simply walk away. When she allows you to pet her, she purrs like crazy, and it's so sweet and adorable that it will melt your heart. Holly needs a patient adopter who can build trust with her and bring out the love bug hiding underneath her shy exterior. Holly has been in foster with her brother and wants to hang out with him. Even when she was still very scared of humans, she'd come out to play with bro. Her brother is not as into her as she is into him so we don’t think it’s best for them to be adopted together. Holly would like a home with another young, playful cat who will take her under their wing and show her the ropes of cat life in a home. Holly is located in Long Beach, NY. She is spayed, UTD on shots, and FIV/FeLV negative.
