We look forward to hearing from you.HOPE is a sweet, gentle soul. She started out with a hard life. She came to us with three day old puppies but in need of vet care herself. Her babies were sent to a bottle-feeding foster but Hope became depressed while at the vets office. Once she was finally in her foster home, she took a little while to decompress and give her trust. Once she is in a routine and knows her people, she’s such a happy dog. She loves all other dogs very much… friendly but submissive. Young to old, shy to playful, she’d do very well in a multi-dog household. A DOG IN THE HOME IS A MUST HAVE!!! Hope needs a fenced in yard, she might need to be carried out at first until she feels confident, and used to going out at her new home. She is NOT an apartment dog. She absolutely loves to be outside whether basking in the sun or chasing chipmunks. Hope is very shy around new people and while she will settle in, she needs a patient, gentle, encouraging human to spend her life with. She’s a very special dog, who DOES NOT need walks in the park, car rides, or hikes through the woods… but a quiet, routine life. As you can see in the picture hope does have a disabled leg, she manages very well with it and it doesn’t cause her any pain so under the advice of the vet we opted not to remove it, it just requires being kept clean. There’s someone out there waiting, just for her… is it you? Hope is available for a meet and greet in CTAdoption processOur Adoption Process:Our process begins with an application that must be submitted as the first step. If an application appears to be a match for the particular dog or puppy, we arrange for a time to discuss it over the phone. Once the phone interview takes place and there continues to be a potential for being a good match, we arrange for a meet and greet IF the dog is fostered in Your area and then a possible home visit. After that, references are checked and you will be contacted via email or phone that you've been approved for adoption. At this time the adoption contract and the link to pay the adoption fee will be sent to you. Upon approval of application, a the fee is payable via paypal, Venmo, or debit/credit card via PayPal (no account needed) within 24 hours to 'hold' the dog you are adopting. The adoption fee is $475. The application review process can take up to a week but we try to get to you as soon as possible. An adoption contract will be signed prior to the dog going to its new home.Shelter locationIf a dog isn’t there already, We transport to North East once adopted.
